Detailed Itinerary: 4 Days Tarangire, Serengeti and Lake Manyara Safari
Day 1: Pick-Up and Drive to Tarangire National Park, Game Drive
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha, or from the airport, and welcomed by your guide for the safari ahead. You will then begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s third-largest, known for its huge elephant herds and baobab trees. You will enjoy a game drive through the park in search of wildlife such as elephant, zebra, cheetah, lion, buffalo, and leopard, among others. Enjoy lunch before continuing on to Karatu, where you will check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Drive to Serengeti National Park, Game Drive
After breakfast at the lodge, transfer to Serengeti National Park, home to an extraordinary range of wildlife, from the Big Five to the smallest mammals and birds. You will enjoy a game drive through the park in search of wildebeest, lion, leopard, elephant, giraffe, zebra, and buffalo, among others. Dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 3: Early-Morning Game Drive in Serengeti, Transfer to Lake Manyara
Wake up for an early-morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, watching the park come to life as you look out for zebra, lion, leopard, buffalo, and much more.
After breakfast at camp, head out with your packed lunch on the transfer to Lake Manyara National Park, driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will stop at a viewpoint for further game viewing. You will also enjoy a cultural tour in Mto wa Mbu, interacting with the local community. Continue to your lodge to check in and relax while you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning Game Drive/Walking Safari in Lake Manyara, Departure
Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge and, with your packed lunch in hand, set out on a game drive through Lake Manyara National Park, a genuine gem, home to tree-climbing lions and elephant, among many others. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the lake, taking in the beautiful views around you.
Afterward, your guide will drive you to Arusha and drop you off at your hotel, or at the airport, bringing your safari to an end.
