4 Days Akagera National Park Safari

4 Days Akagera National Park Safari

This 4 Days Akagera National Park Safari is a short Rwanda trip, but long enough to let travelers explore the park in real detail across a range of activities. Akagera National Park was gazetted as a national park in 1934 and covers approximately 2,500 square kilometres. The park is home to a number of savanna species, including the Big Five (rhino, elephant, lion, leopard, and buffalo), alongside giraffe, zebra, antelope, and many others.

Akagera National Park is also home to Lake Ihema and the Akagera River, which provide a constant water supply for the park’s wildlife. As a result, boat safaris are both possible and highly rewarding here.
