Detailed Itinerary: 8 Days Best of Kenya Safari
Day 1: Pick-Up, Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, Game Drive
You will be picked up from the airport by your guide, who will welcome you and give you a short briefing on the trip ahead. You will then be driven to one of Kenya’s most famous destinations, the Masai Mara National Reserve, for an exciting wildlife-viewing experience.
Along the way, you will take in views of the Rift Valley escarpment as you drive through Kenya’s scenic highlands, with a stopover in Narok town. Continue on to the Masai Mara, where you will see a variety of wildlife grazing across the savanna as you approach your lodge to check in ahead of dinner and an overnight stay.

Days 2 & 3: Full Days in Masai Mara, Maasai Cultural Tour
Enjoy a full day exploring the plains of the Masai Mara in search of wildlife, with a chance to witness the Great Migration. Look out for a range of species, including the Big Five, antelope, eland, zebra, and gazelle, among many others. In the evening, visit the Maasai community to learn about their culture and way of life. Dinner and overnight stay, as above.
Day 4: Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park
Enjoy breakfast at your lodge in the Masai Mara, then check out and continue your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park across the Rift Valley escarpment, taking in the beautiful scenery along the way. You will enjoy an en-route game drive, spotting wildlife such as giraffe, rhino, gazelle, buffalo, antelope, reedbuck, and eland, among others.
Lunch will be served at your lodge after check-in, and after lunch, you will enjoy a further game drive through Lake Nakuru National Park, visiting the flamingo-filled lake, an excellent birding spot for flocks of flamingo, alongside other birdlife and grazing wildlife nearby. You will be driven back to your lodge after your evening game drive for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Drive to Amboseli National Park
Breakfast will be served before you check out of your lodge in Lake Nakuru National Park and continue your drive to Amboseli National Park via the Rift Valley escarpment, stopping in Nairobi for lunch along the way.
After lunch, continue your drive to Amboseli National Park, enjoying en-route wildlife viewing, including the elephant herds the park is famous for, along with views of Mount Kilimanjaro as you approach your lodge for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay.
