It takes in the world-famous Serengeti National Park and Masai Mara National Reserve, celebrated above all for the Great Wildebeest Migration and the Big Five, as well as Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to more than half the world’s population of endangered mountain gorillas.

Detailed Itinerary: 10 Days Serengeti, Masai Mara and Bwindi Gorilla Fly-in Safari
Day 1: Fly to Serengeti National Park
Take your flight from Arusha Airstrip to the Seronera Airstrip, where your safari guide will be waiting for you. He will welcome you to the Serengeti, brief you on the trip ahead, and drive you to your lodge, enjoying wildlife viewing along the way. Check in and relax while you wait for lunch. At 3 p.m., head out for a game drive, your first introduction to the wilderness of Serengeti National Park. Dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Days 2 & 3: Full-Day Game Drives in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at your lodge, head out with your packed lunch for a full day exploring Serengeti National Park. Enjoy a morning game drive across the savanna plains in search of the Big Five and other wildlife, with a picnic lunch ahead of further wildlife viewing.
In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Fly to Masai Mara
After breakfast at your lodge, check out and transfer to the Seronera Airstrip for your flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Upon your arrival in the Masai Mara, you will be picked up and transferred to your lodge. Check in and relax while you wait for lunch. Later, head out for an evening game drive, your first introduction to the wilderness of the Masai Mara. Return to the lodge afterward for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara
Wake up early, enjoy breakfast, and grab your packed lunch before meeting your safari driver for a full day exploring the stunning savanna of the Masai Mara, watching large numbers of wildlife such as lion, elephant, cheetah, leopard, wildebeest, and zebra, among many others. Enjoy your picnic lunch, then continue with another game drive. Dinner and overnight stay, as above.
Day 6: Full Day in Masai Mara, Maasai Community Tour
After breakfast, head out for a final morning game drive across the reserve, spotting wildlife you may have missed previously. After the drive, return to your lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon, visit a Maasai village, or the Loita Hills, for a cultural experience.
During this visit, you will gain a deeper insight into Maasai culture by interacting with the local community, enjoying traditional dance and drama performances by Maasai warriors, and having the chance to purchase local items such as Maasai shukas, beaded jewellery, and other accessories, as well as sample local cuisine. Afterward, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, as above.
Day 7: Fly to Entebbe, Connecting Flight to Bwindi
Enjoy breakfast, check out of the lodge, and connect for your flight to Entebbe, departing the Masai Mara at 8:45 a.m. and arriving in Entebbe at 11:45 a.m. Upon arrival, you will connect onward to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Upon your arrival in Bwindi, continue to your lodge, check in, and relax while you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Enjoy breakfast at your lodge as you prepare for your gorilla trekking activity, beginning with a drive to the park headquarters, where you will be briefed on the trek ahead.
After your briefing, you will venture into Bwindi Forest, following various trails in search of the endangered gorillas. You will also see other primate species in the forest, along with a variety of birds and butterflies. Once found, you will spend about an hour in the gorillas’ company before returning to your lodge to relax and spend the night, as above.
Day 9: Meet the Batwa Pygmies
Wake up at leisure and enjoy breakfast at the lodge. Afterward, meet the Batwa, the oldest inhabitants of the area, for a cultural tour. Interact with them and experience their traditional way of life. Return to the lodge to relax and enjoy a late lunch, spending the rest of the evening at leisure. Day 10: Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, then continue to the Kihihi Airstrip for your flight to Entebbe, marking the end of your 10 Days Serengeti, Masai Mara and Bwindi Gorilla Fly-in Safari.
