This 3 Day Kenya Safari takes you to the Masai Mara National Reserve, home to a spectacular array of savanna wildlife. Over the course of the trip, you will enjoy game drives through the reserve, travelling in a comfortable safari vehicle while immersing yourself in one of Kenya’s most beautiful safari destinations.
This safari gives you the chance to spot the Big Five, along with a wide range of other wildlife found in the Masai Mara. You will also have the opportunity to meet the Maasai people and experience their rich, traditional culture.

Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara Reserve, Evening Game Drive
Drive Time: 5–6 Hours
Your Kenya safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi, brief you on the trip ahead, and then set off for the transfer to the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will drive through Kenya’s rural communities, taking in the typical countryside, and pass through Narok town, with time to stop if you wish, before continuing on to the reserve.
On arrival, you will check in at your lodge and relax while you wait for lunch.
At 3:30 p.m., set out for a late-afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara, your first introduction to this remarkable reserve. Return to the lodge as the sun sets for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve, Maasai Cultural Tour
Wake up to an early breakfast at the lodge, then head out for an extensive game drive through the Masai Mara. Look out for a wide range of wildlife, including the Big Five, gazelle, cheetah, and many others.
Enjoy a picnic lunch out in the reserve, followed by further game viewing as you head to visit a Maasai community for an authentic cultural tour. Interact with the local Maasai, enjoy their folklore, and even join in their traditional dance.
Return to the lodge afterward for dinner and an overnight stay, as above.
Day 3: Departure
After breakfast, check out of your Masai Mara lodge with your packed lunch. Enjoy further game viewing as you leave the reserve, then transfer back to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at the airport for your outbound flight, or at your hotel of stay. This brings the 3 Day Kenya Safari to an end.
