This 3 Days Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Safari is a short, fast-paced Tanzania tour that takes you through the most sought-after stretch of the northern Tanzania safari circuit. The trip starts at Ndabaka Gate or Mwanza and ends in Arusha, and can also be arranged to start at the Isebania border, ending in Arusha as well.

Day 1: Pick-up at Ndabaka Gate, Game Drive in Serengeti
Your Tanzania safari guide will pick you up at Ndabaka Gate or in Mwanza, welcome you to Tanzania, and brief you on your three-day safari ahead. You will then enter Serengeti National Park for a game drive, keeping an eye out for a wide range of wildlife, including the Big Five, lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo, among many others. Enjoy lunch out in the wilderness, followed by further game viewing as you make your way to your lodge. Check in and relax while you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Central Tanzania Bush Camp.
Day 2: Serengeti Hot Air Balloon, Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
You will be collected early from camp and transferred to the launch site for your Serengeti hot air balloon ride. Keep an eye out for nocturnal wildlife during the transfer. Once aboard, enjoy wildlife viewing from a bird’s-eye view and take in one of the most beautiful sunrises you will ever see, followed by a champagne bush breakfast once you land.
Afterward, continue your transfer out of the park, enjoying yet another spell of game viewing along the way. Transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a packed lunch en route, keeping an eye out for wildlife as you drive to your lodge. Check in and relax while you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Karatu Tented Lodge.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Departure
After an early breakfast at the lodge, head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a game drive, packed lunch in hand. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to more than 25,000 animals, including all of the Big Five. Look out for wildlife across the crater floor, including eland, zebra, warthog, wildebeest, buffalo, and elephant, while taking in the sweeping views and scenery. You will also visit Lake Magadi, where you may spot pink flamingos along the shore.
Afterward, transfer to Arusha, where your guide will drop you off at the airport or at your hotel of choice, bringing your 3 Days Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Safari to an end.
