Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival and pick up from the airport to your hotel.
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi from where you will be picked up by our company staff to embark on the journey to the hotel in Nairobi. Sign in at the hotel as the staff gets ready to serve you all delicious lunch or dinner depending on arrival time.
You will relax at the hotel in your room as you enjoy the views of Nairobi city. Dinner will be served later at sunset and you will stay at the hotel for an overnight.
Day 2: Transfer from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park.
Breakfast will be served at break of day in Nairobi after which you will embark on the journey to Amboseli National Park. This journey takes about 3 hours and 24 minutes and on arrival at the National Park you will sign in at the lodge.
Enjoy the views of Amboseli National Park from the lodge and later at noon you will be served mouthwatering lunch. After lunch, enjoy the traditional dances in the evening at the lodge. The traditional dances will be performed by the indigenous Masai people who inhabit some parts of Amboseli National Park. Enjoy the activities the entire evening up to twilight when dinner will be served at the hotel and you will stay for an overnight.
Day 3: Full day game drive in Amboseli National Park.
After breakfast, you will embark on a fully guided morning game drive in Amboseli National Park where you will have opportunities to encounter various species of animals and birds ranging from the big 5 animals to jackals, Defassa waterbucks and hyenas. The game drive will end at around noon tide when you will transfer to the lodge for scrumptious lunch.
After lunch, you’ll have an afternoon game drive in the central parts of the National Park where you will have the opportunities to encounter more of the animals and bird species that live within. Amboseli National Park is quite a picturesque area and parades the beauty of the snow capped Mount Kilimanjaro that is such an interesting icon for photography which the visitors will get to enjoy. Head back to the lodge, get served a delicious dinner and be accommodated for the night.
Day 4: Amboseli National Park to lake Naivasha
An early meal will be served and later check out of the lodge and prepare to transfer to Lake Naivasha. The journey to lake Naivasha National Park will take you roughly 5 hours and 22 minutes through the various landscapes of Kenya as you enjoy the views of the lush vegetation and the beautiful bird species flying in the skies especially southern horn bills, black bee-eaters, Abyssinian ground hornbill, marabou stocks, African fish eagles, secretary birds, turacos and grey crowned cranes.
Head to the lodge on arrival in lake Naivasha and get served a delicious lunch. After lunch, you will relax at the lodge in the afternoon. In the evening, you will have an optional evening walk that will help you spot some of the animals in the vicinity of the lodge. Enjoy the activity up to twilight when dinner will be served to you.
Day 5: Full day game drive in lake Naivasha National Park.
A morning meal will be served from the lodge. After, you will embark on a morning game drive in lake Naivasha National Park where you will have the opportunities to view animals especially leopards, zebras, giraffes, elands, serval cats, hyenas and hippos.
Transfer to the lodge at midday where you will be served mouthwatering lunch. After lunch, you’ll head southwards of the National Park for an afternoon game drive which will allow you to observe more of the animals in the National Park. Head to the lodge at sundown for a delicious dinner and stay overnight.
Day 6: Naivasha to Masai Mara.
An early meal will be served to you at sunrise at the hotel after which you will embark on the drive to Masai Mara national reserve. The drive will take about 4 hours and 47 minutes. On arrival in Masai Mara, you will continue and check in at the lodge. Relax at the lodge and later at noon you will be served a delicious lunch.
Relax at the lodge the entire afternoon as you enjoy viewing the animals for in the reserve from the hotels facilities. An evening tour will be conducted later where you have the chance to walk around in the natural areas and also spot some of the animals especially wildebeests, zebras, African bush elephants and buffaloes. Head back to the lodge at dusk for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Full day game drive in Masai Mara.
After breakfast, you will undertake the morning guided game drive in Eronkishi and Lemek conservancies in the northern parts of Masai Mara national reserve where you will have opportunities to observe animals ranging from millions of wildebeests, servals, hyenas, zebras, Defassa waterbucks, common genets, common elands and the big 5 animals. Transfer to the lodge at noon where you will be served delicious lunch.
After lunch, you’ll undertake the afternoon game drive in Mara north and Motorogi areas that will further present opportunities to see more of the animals within the reserve. After that, you will transfer to the lodge where you will be served mouth watering dinner and stay for overnight stay.
Day 8: Cross to Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast, embark on the crossing journey to Serengeti National Park. This interesting journey will last approximately 3 hours and 29 minutes and on arrival you will check in at the lodge and relax as you enjoy the views of the wilderness composed of Savannah grasslands, scattered shrubs and beautiful streams.
A delicious lunch will be served to you later in the afternoon. After lunch, you will again relax in the afternoon at the lodge and later in the evening you will have a guided game drive. The game drive will present to you chances to view the wildebeests as they migrate alongside other animals ranging from zebras, African Bush elephants, black rhinos, cape buffaloes, common elands, impalas, Defassa waterbucks and hyenas. Transfer back to the lodge at eventide for dinner and a peaceful overnight.
Day 9: Full day game drive in Serengeti.
A morning delicious meal will be served at the lodge and later undertake a sunrise game drive in the northern plains of Serengeti National Park for opportunities to spot animals that live within especially the big 5 and beautiful birds especially great blue turacos, Abyssinian ground hornbill, black bee eaters, cinnamons, egrets, hammerkops, African fish eagles, African paradise flycatcher, African darters, secretary birds, kingfishers and ox-peckers.
Transfer back to the lodge where you will be served a delicious lunch. After lunch, continue with the game drive in the Serengeti central sector. This will help you observe other animals within the park and later at sunset you will transfer back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 10: Serengeti National Park to Arusha.
Have breakfast at the crack of dawn and later undertake the journey to Arusha which will last approximately 7 hours. In Arusha, you will catch the flights back home which will mark the end of your trip.
