Drive from Entebbe to western Uganda in kibale national park . Passing through vast tea plantations and rocky land scapes . Stopping in different markets for fruits and Ugandan local immersions. Later into lake Nkuruba nature reserve for relaxing and monkeys can be sighted as well as chilling down at the lake . Night at nkuruba
After breakfast This morning embark into the tropical rainforest of kibale national park to find the chimps in their natural habitat. You will be welcomed by the traditional dances and then get briefed about the chimps . Kibale is a primate capital of the world and it harbors 13 primate species. Take a forest walk to find the chimps playing ,stretching ,feeding and occasionally mating . See baboons, grey checked mangaby etc . Go for a traditional lunch at Tinkas homestay where you test the local foods and as well learning how the locals prepare their food . After lunch go for the Bigodi community tour where you will immerse your self in a community walk to see coffee plantations and the coffee process experience from the garden to the cup and you will test it from here . See the local banana wine processor which creates a vibrant flavor for your visit . Later we shall return to the lodge for a night . Night at nkuruba
This morning after breakfast we shall hit the road to kasese , enjoying views of rwenzori mountains , stopping at the equator crossing for photography and then to the lodge for lunch. Enjoy the swimming pool at the lodge while watching wildlife. In the evening we shall go for an evening game drive to spot wildlife such as lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes and antelopes. Later return to the lodge . Night at buffalo lodge Meals : all provided
Early morning after breakfast, get into the real game hunting for wildlife as above . Landscape and salt lake view is at your fingertips. Later return to the lodge for lunch as you wait for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel . This is going to be a 2 hrs where you see millions of birds , Large schools of hippos , elephants drinking water , buffalos etc . I.e Kazinga channel joins 2 lakes : lake Edward and lake George . Later choose to relax in the evening at the lodge or go for another short evening game drive . Night at buffalo . Meal plan : full board
After breakfast,head southwards crossing borders to Rwanda a land of a thousand hills . You will head to the volcnoes national park . Night at mountain gorilla lodge Meals : FB
This is a day it’s a major highlight for your visit for your African safari . Get briefed about the trekking and the equipments later Embark into the dense tropical rain forests and bamboo groves and terrains in the volcanoes national park. The tour is guided by park rangers and here you will trek to find the gentle giants of Africa in their natural environment. See the gorillas playing ,patrolling,feeling and dancing. Photos are at your phone or camera storage limit . Later return for lunch as you wait to experience the cultural tour of Ibyiwachu cultural village. Here you have a chance to interact with the local communities and learn about Rwandan traditional dances and songs. The tour also takes you through the traditional medicines ,basket weaving ,hunting techniques and hence offering a glimpse into the local way of life and Rwanda’s rich heritage. Return to the lodge for a night . Night as above .
After breakfast drive from volcanoes to kigali Lunch in the afternoon and then get into the city tour where you will visit the kigali museum, kigali genocide memorial which is a pregnant reminder of the 1994 genocide and fostering understanding and remarkable transformation of Rwanda into the Africa’s cleanest city .The local markets are incredible where you test the fresh fruits of the land . Later you will return to the Milles Collines hotel in kigali. Dinner and overnight
This is your last day in Rwanda . Morning after breakfast pack your bags and good bye to the staff as per flight times. We shall drive you to kigali international airport . End of the Safari
