Your English speaking tour guide from Scosam will pick you up at the airport and drive you to the Airport Guest House for the night‘s meal.
• You’ll be getting B/B (Bed and Breakfast) • Freshen up and get ready for the trip!
We’ll set off after your early breakfast We’ll have an afternoon game drive to
spot the white Rhinos and other wildlife. • One Night at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
• Meal plan is F/B (Full board
• You’ll interact with the other wildlife at the Rhino Sanctuary, to see if you missed any.
• After-lunch drive to Murchison Falls National Park for a day’s Safari. You’ll see giraffes, elephants, lions, leopards etc.
• One Night at Sambiya river lodge , Parra lodge or etc
• Meal plan is F/B (Full board
• The drive will begin with crossing River Nile near its delta at Lake Albert where a variety of animal species coexist.
• You’ll look out for Lions, oribis, elephants, leopards, giraffes and others.
Three hour boat ride in the afternoon • After lunch, we’ll board a boat and cross River Nile for an interaction with its aquatic life; the hippopotamuses, crocodiles, water birds getting as close as possible to the mighty Murchison Falls.
• We’re sure the magnifi cent views here and the natural environment will sum up an awesome day’s experience.
• Another Night at the above accommodation
• Breakfast, then a drive to the top of the Falls for a different perspective on the Falls, and how the Nile forms two waterfalls, the other called Uhuru Falls with water fl owing through about 20m of the mighty river.
• Afternoon drive to Fort Portal
• We’ll drive shortly to Hoima Town for our lunch.
• After lunch in Hoima, we’ll drive you to Fort Portal such that we arrive late in the evening at Lake Nkuruba or any other lodge of your selection on the list .
• There, we’ll have our dinner and overnight
• The meal plan is F/B
• We’ll walk around different crater lakes; each with distinctive features, tropical rainforests, primates, birds.
• Hike to the “Top of the world” Viewpoint and a brief visit to the Mahoma Falls.
• Night as above
• Depart at 6:30am for Kibale National Park • We’ll spend 2-4 hours in the game park.
• We’ll search and fi nd chimpanzees, with a
chance to see 12 other primate species like the Black & White Colobus monkeys, Red Tailed, Red Colobus monkeys, etc.
• Traditional Lunch in Bigodi Village
• The locally prepared meals of Ugandan organic foods; including matooke, mushrooms, dodo, all served in traditional regalia.
• Afternoon drive back to the lodge for our night meal
• The meals will still be on Full board
We’ll travel towards The Rwenzori Mountain ranges for a two-day trek to experience and interact with the fl ora and fauna at the “Mountains of the Moon.”
• Expect to see the giant Lobelia plants, the horned chameleons, the Rwenzori turaco. • For the night, we’ll camp.
• Mountain Hiking for Peak exploration. • You’ll begin seeing the mountain peaks as we hike through altitudes between 1600m to 3515m
• Among peaks is the Margherita peak, the Stanley peak, the Portal peak with up to 5 of them above 5000m.
• For all the nights we camp in the mountains, the meal plan will be F/B (Full board
• Having returned from the mountains, we’ll transfer you to Q.E.N.P, particularly Ishaka Sector Home of the climbing Lions.
• If time allows, we’ll take you for a late evening game drive to see the lions, many elephants, buffalos, topis, hyenas, etc.
• 1 night-lazy-camping at Enjojo Lodge, F/B
• On this drive, we’ll spot some herbivores, including Uganda kobs, before we return to Enjojo Lodge for breakfast.
• Game drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forests, for the Gorilla trekking experience.
• Night at Ruhija Community Rest Camp, F/B
• A major highlight on your trip, allowing you to come face-to-face with the Giant Apes. • We’ll trek through some montane vegetation on the hills of Bwindi, till we encounter the Gorillas. We can watch them live their life, some breast feed… etc, for up to 1 hour.
• Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
• After that one-on-one we’ll be on our way heading to one of the islands on Lake Bunyonyi.
• We’ll have time to refresh ourselves before the night’s meal.
• We’ll be on Full board plan
• It being a Sunday, we feel one of the most beautiful lava-dammed lakes would be the perfect getaway place for relaxing.
• Watch birds, listen to them singing from different islands and you can try optional activities like canoeing, swimming, sport fi shing etc
• A night at Seeds of Hope, with dinner, F/B
• Early breakfast and transfer to lake Mburo National Park, home of zebras, elands, impalas, klipspringer, giraffes etc.
• You’ll catch lunch there, enjoying it by the lakeside, after which we shall take an evening game drive.
• Night at L.Mburo National Park Bandas, F/B
• Early morning drive to look out for animals you could have missed the previous evening
• Return for breakfast by the lakeside, then setting off for Entebbe.
• We’ll stopover at the Equator crossing for lunch and more photos. Feel free to get something from the gift shop and or the roadside souvenir market.
• Check in at the Airport for a day-room where we’ll be having one last dinner before your take-off
• The price per person:
