This is a day to have an amazing great opening for your experiences in Uganda with the chimpanzees in the morning. Early breakfast and drive to Kibale at Kanyanchu visitors center. Kibale National park is a primate capital of the world that hosts 13 primate species including almost half of the world number of chimpanzees which shares 98% of DNA close to humans. Take a forest walk to See the chimps playing,swinging,feeding,and more experience from these amazing apes.(Photo shoots) and after chimps head to Tinkas homestead for a traditional lunch. Here you will experience the way how local dish is prepared and test it by yourself. and after lunch head for another interesting walk of the Bigodi swamp and community walk. Bigodi wetland is also a corridor of Kibale forest and great vegetation experience,and this also offers you a chance to encounter different primate species such as red colobus,black and white colobus monkey,L'hoest monkey etc and many bird species like the terracos,hornbills and etc. Visit a coffee making man , visit a local banana wine making man , and cultural exchange. Breakfast at leisure,and then we transfer to Queen elizabeth national park,driving through the Kasenda volcanic craters,Rwenzori mountain views,stop at the equator for photos and then to your lodge, check-in then lunch as we prepare for a 2 hrs boat ride on the Kazinga channel to see wildlife such as crocodiles,hippos,monitor lizards,elephants and many water birds. Transfer to Bwindi Early morning game drive in the plains of Queen Elizabeth to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, antelopes etc and After the game drive, head southwards driving through vast savannah and on to Bwindi. The major highlight Experience in the morning with trackers through dense mountain vegetation looking for these giant Apes. You are allowed one full hour enjoying their presence and watching them do their different activities like playing,swinging,feeding,etc.This is truly a rewarding experience. Later return to the lodge in the afternoon for lunch and after lunch go for the Batwa experience tour to see these people who once lived in the forest and now they have communities outside the park. See how they make fire traditionally , learn how they used to hunt, and more of the community activities like coffee making experience etc. Later return to the lodge. Night at Buhoma gorilla lodge.
