Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti for 6-day wildlife experience
You will be picked up at the hotel in Arusha town and drive to the Northern circuit of Tanzania. Serengeti National Park is the main destination of interest as per this safari, and this is one of the Africa’s leading big 5 game viewing destinations. Get to the park in the afternoon, check in at the lodge and enjoy a leisurely lunch.
Day 2: Whole day safari in Serengeti NP
Enjoy an early morning breakfast and after, set off for a game drive along the Lobo and Grumeti River. Around this sector, the main wildlife species to see include cheetahs, leopards, zebras, lions, gazelles, buffaloes, elephants, and get the best of the wildebeest migration experience. Have a picnic lunch and after, continue exploring the sweeping Serengeti plains while catching huge concentrations of wildlife.
Day 3: Explore Wagakuria
After having breakfast, you will set off to Wagakuria. This is one area where you will have a chance to see large prides of lions, wildebeests, elephants, buffaloes and a lot more. Drive back from Wagakuria to your safari lodge for relaxation and lunch break, then return for an afternoon wildlife viewing session.
Day 4: Relaxation at the lodge
Today, you will have a long day just chilling at the camp/lodge in Serengeti. If you love swimming, you will have the best of your day at the swimming pool depending on the lodge booked.
Day 5: Serengeti-Ngorongoro
Depart the lodge for Ngorongoro, about 4 hours’ drive. Your area of interest will be the crater where you will have uninterrupted view of wildlife in large concentrations including wildebeests, endangered rhinos, zebras, spotted hyenas, black-backed jackals, gazelles, buffaloes, and others.
Day 6: End of Tanzania wildlife expedition
Get up early and breakfast will be served to you, followed by check out of the camp/lodge in Serengeti N/Park. Exit Serengeti, head off to Arusha city, and today brings to an end the 6 days migration & leisure safari tour.
